This information is designed to give you guidance for your appointment with our Staff member who will show you how easily you can turn your garden dreams into reality.
Our Staff member will dedicate 30 minutes of consultation / design advice time to providing you with valuable assistance to address your project. This is not enough time to come away with a scaled drawing or master plan, but if you will follow the four easy steps outlined here, this service will serve you well.
- Prepare yourself for your appointment by doing a little homework such as gathering photos of your project area, record measurements on graph paper & try to get a copy of your property platt (this is in your closing paper work from your mortgage closing or available on-line in most counties). Observe and record the number of hours of sun the area receives and which direction the area is facing. (N, S, E, W) Take some time to assess your soil conditions by digging small test areas in the project area.
- Call Willow Ridge Garden Center & schedule your appointment with a Staff member.
- Prepare your project area soil using methods and recommendations your Willow Ridge Staff member has recommended for your site. Space and plant your plant material selection recommendations according to your We Plan You Plant project plan. Mulch & fertilize your new planting according to the guidelines provide to you and water your new plants for the first time
- Sit back and enjoy your success. Maintain your new garden area using the watering and maintenance guidelines provide to you by your We Plan, You Plant Staff member.
